A 48×32 hex world demonstrating the first-person Player mode
(/explorer/[worldId]?view=first-person). The same Saltmarsh Coast
atlas from the Jungle Adventure entry — but instead of the
GM-overhead view, you walk the chapel-to-bell-tower route with
WASD + arrow keys + Shift to sprint, the cursor pinned to a
collision helper, the camera locked to your cell. An encounter at
the bridge auto-triggers a point-and-click dialogue with the bandit
patrol; pause it with Esc, click "Open dialogue", and you walk
the GM-authored scripted conversation while still in first-person.
Highlights:
- First-person movement with WASD/arrow + Shift-sprint + camera follow.
- Click-to-inspect encounters without breaking the FP camera.
- NPC routines keep running while you walk — Mira the mage waves as you pass her stall.
- Sky-tinting follows the same day/night cycle as the GM view.
Try it: Open this world, hit Walk, then click the bridge encounter tile — the cinematic presenter takes over while the FP camera holds.
